Lift Our Vote® presents the Grassroots Organizer & Leadership Development (GOLD) Summit

Lift Our Vote® is a nonpartisan movement committed to creating a culture of voting in marginalized communities through education, engagement, and empowerment.

In partnership with the Alabama Association for the Arts and a coalition of community partners, Lift Our Vote® proudly presents the Grassroots Organizer & Leadership Development (GOLD) Summit, taking place on Friday, July 31, 2026, in Huntsville, Alabama.

The GOLD Summit is a dynamic, one-day convening designed to bring together 50-75 community organizers and leaders who are actively working to preserve and protect the vote. This summit will serve as a creative and collaborative space for participants to:

• Engage in strategic conversations around civic engagement
• Strengthen leadership capacity through targeted training sessions
• Build meaningful connections with organizers and partners from across the South
• Exchange tools, resources, and best practices to advance community-based civic work

Selected partners will lead interactive, one-hour training sessions, offering practical insights and real-world strategies to support ongoing organizing efforts. The day will also feature a special guest speaker, creating space for deeper dialogue and shared learning.

A full session schedule will be released as facilitators are confirmed.

Participants will leave the GOLD Summit equipped with enhanced strategies, expanded networks, and renewed energy to strengthen civic engagement within their organizations and communities.
